Sports Imports, the market leader in elite volleyball equipment, is seeking a Marketing Director to drive brand expansion, demand lead generation, and revenue growth in both B2B and direct-to-consumer (DTC) markets.
In this high-impact role, you will shape and execute innovative marketing strategies, lead a passionate and capable team, and uncover new market segments and revenue streams. The right candidate is a dynamic, curious, and strategic thinker with proven success in scaling businesses, building brand presence, and leading top-performing teams.
Lead Generation & Growth Marketing
· Create multi-channel marketing programs to generate qualified leads and expand market reach.
· Partner closely with Sales to align demand creation with revenue targets.
Website & Digital Optimization
· Own digital strategy—including SEO, UX, and website performance—to maximize traffic, lead conversion, and ecommerce/DTC potential.
Go-To-Market & New Market Strategy
· Identify and drive entry into new markets, uncovering untapped revenue opportunities and audiences.
· Innovate to launch new products, services, and partnerships that expand business potential.
Brand Integrity & Stewardship
· Safeguard and elevate the Sports Imports brand across all customer touchpoints.
· Ensure quality, consistency, and alignment with company values in all content and campaigns.
Sales Enablement
· Equip the Sales team with tools, assets, and insights to close deals faster and more effectively.
Leadership & Team Development
· Mentor, motivate, and manage a high-performing Marketing and Creative team.
· Cultivate a positive, collaborative culture that reflects Sports Imports’ core values: grit, teamwork, integrity, passion, and excellence.
· Demonstrate thought leadership within a high-functioning executive team to innovate business practices and operational efficiencies within the marketing department
· 5–10+ years in Marketing or Business Development leadership roles (B2B and/or DTC preferred)
· Demonstrated success in lead generation, digital marketing, and market expansion
· Strong team leadership and people development experience
· Creative, curious, and strategic mindset with a bias for action
· Excellent project management and organizational skills
· Data-driven approach with knowledge of analytics, CRM, and automation tools
· Outstanding communication, relationship-building, and influencing abilities
